Stickers and Pop
STICKERS!!!!!!!! i found stickers!!! 300 of them at that!!!
i was out shopping with Dad yesterday, looking for post Chinese New Year sales of which there were plenty. i managed to buy the Chronicles of Narnia at a 20% discount. after we finished up at Bishan, i bugged Dad to go to Novena Square and once there we breezed into WHSmith... i was browsing through the kids/stationary section and turned around to look for something when i saw it..on a shelf..in between LOTR jigsaws and Lilo & Stitch activity books:
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers sticker set with 300 sticker plus sticker album!!
i took it down expecting to see some major unaffordable price and i see $20.55. i nearly collapsed! $20 for 300 stickers! Bloody Hell! this was SO coming home with me!..and let me just say the stickers are bee-yoo-ti-ful!
also bought the new A*Teens album..yeah yeah so i like pop music, is that a crime? dont think so... i dont see why people get so embarressed to say they like pop music.. ok granted the pop music scene in the U.S is a bit more image driven than in the U.K. i prefer British and European pop groups myself (the exception being BSB) cos they do true pure pop music, instead of combining it with something else and trying to sell it off as pop.
the Brit bands like Westlife, S club, Blue, A1, Atomic Kitten, BBMak, as well as the older ex-bands like Five, 911, Steps and Code Red all have or had great albums that were purely pop! i have most of them.
besides liking pop doesnt automatically make you a teenybopper. i have plenty of friends who love pop music but they're the furthest things from teenies as you'll get... so yes.. i will admit that i am a pop music fan!
So which hobbit are you? Hmm??
