Look-a-Like - Day 75
Squeee! Pura is a happy bunny-bot! *hops around room, shaking her little silver and purple skidplate*

i have a feeling some of the other showhosts find it annoying to always see me walking around the Hall with some grin or another on my face. well better that than to walk around all sullen and pouty.

anyways i was supposed to do Scaling today but Maryann showed up with a "oh i hurt my leg at an audition on Saturday and so i cant stand and must sit" story. *rolls optics* so for about an hour i had to stand around at Scaling with her sitting on the high chair next to me and listen to non-stop inane babbling, till i think Lai San decided to have mercy and told me to hand over everything to her and go float around. Primus be praised!

i think Lai San regretted doing that though cos Maryann screwed up a few of the pics again. *snicker* i dont see whats wrong with her leg cos rather than direct from the high chair like most of us do, she kept running in and out of the booth. pretty energetic for someone with an injured leg.

i had to cover her for lunch and managed to make a few sales out of the meager crowd of people. there was a Malay school visiting from Malaysia i think. anyways while i was manning scaling, three girls came up, must have been around 13-15 years old, and got a picture taken. after that one of them asks if she can take a picture with me outside. *double take* with ME? and i was in street clothes, not even in costume. Me? are you sure?

Apparently they were very sure. Why? because the girl thought i looked like Aishwarya Rai. for those of you who dont know, Aishwarya Rai is a former Miss World, now a famous Indian actress. As you can imagine i was floored. Still am.

you be the judge...

the rest of the day after that went pretty smoothly. caught a little glitch taking photos and wouldnt delete them so i told Lai San and she and Hida cornered her. she decides to give her camera over to the 2 guys she's with and leaves them to 'face the music' so to speak. heh, some friend.. she bails at the first sign of trouble..

the others were going jamming with Krist and the other boys after work but i decided to come home. got too much to do here and besides, i doubt i fit in with them much outside the work context.

when i got home there was a big envelope for me on my desk. it was a copy of the Malaysian newspaper that interviewed me for their Exhibition special!! eeeeee! ( see Day 58

My Brunei friend Anna's coming tomorrow! cant wait!
