More Extended Hours - Day 80
the Science Center has decided to milk the last week of the Exhibition for all its worth, of course all at the expense of its LOTR staff..
the latest memo from the upper echelons is that from tomorrow all the way up till closing on Friday, closing time will be extended till midnight. yeah, the big 12am. that means we're each pulling an 11-hour shift. Lai San has worked out the schedule that the girls work 10am-9pm and the boys work 1pm-12am. i guess that works.
on the last day of course all of us will be there till midnight after which we're gonna have the party. this will mean a very large sleepover at the Science Center.
and blah.. our nice shiny Scaling sales record was broken again yesterday..
anyways, as for today... seeing as how the school holidays have started, we had us a large crowd. at least i didnt have to do Scaling again, though i did pop by now and then to help out a little. the only bad thing about having to walk around all day was that sitting down is a rare luxury.
and i must have caught everything stated on the incident report: digicams, video cams, handphone cams, analog cams, people sitting on the exhibit counters, people touching stuff, people sketching. the only one thing i didnt catch was a PDA.
ARGH!! its just madness and before the Exhibition ends its just gonna get madder cos School Holidays have started again. oh the insanity...
one of the janitors has been harassing Clarice so today almost all the LOTR staff were informed about him: showhosts, VSAs, SFX. he must have got word that we knew cos he came over and apologized to her later. heh, dont mess with one of us cos most of us are one damn unified team. well after working together for 3 months, who wouldnt be?
we had a visitor in a Gandalf costume today, but to tell you the truth he just made himself look like a pansy. the pointy hat was a not-so-pointy hat and there were so many things just wrong with that costume... sigh...
Maryann.. well.. only five minutes at Scaling and she screwed up another pic. she moseyed off to the toilet at one point without telling anyone and left the entire floor completely empty cos i was helping Hida with directing and Ridhwan was doing some surveys outside. i think Lai San told her off for that
other than that i dont really recall anything else standing out today.
