The Day Before - Day 83
Trust me, nothing could top yesterday's madness. today was fairly mild eventhough we had quite a large crowd and pretty much all of us were feeling the after-effects of yesterday.
i had to do Scaling AGAIN, cause there was no one else to do it and Lai San and Ann dont want Maryann anywhere near the One Key. man i felt like pulling an Achilles "IS THERE NO ONE ELSE?!" So Maryann was forced to direct for a while till the boys came in, after which i took over the directing. heh, i even managed to come up with some pretty good poses. thank Primus at least i got some intelligent people to try them out on.
One lady said i "look like that Elven princess Arwen" o.O.
Ah and Scaling made over $1,700 yesterday, pretty much smashing all the other records.
Ravi has infected everyone with his little "How 'bout dat" line to the point where we're all yelling it at each other every chance we get. heh, we're a sad bunch really, stupid things easily amuse us. lol!
Ann filmed Maryann and myself as the two primadonna darlings in the back room behind Scaling. we had to act very shallow and girly: talking about hair and makeup and the like. LMSO!! but it was just an act! i'm not like that in real life!! it was slagging hilarious though, cant wait to see all the finished products.
after the 9.30pm mark things just went plain nuts. Ridhwan and i donned the costumes and went out and did one last Eowyn/Witch King skit though i looked pretty stupid cos i didnt have a sword with me at the time..
then we all whipped out cameras, borrowed some of the replica swords from the shop and took a whole stack of crazy photos with each other. i had to use Strider's Ranger Sword since they didnt have any Rohan ones. some of the stuff we did was too fragging funny.
i'm sure the Science Center staff are now more than convinced that they hired lunatics as showhosts eventhough Clarence told me that we were the best bunch of showhosts they've ever had.
Sure gonna miss all of them after tomorrow...
