3 Day Trip
Lets see now, what have i been upto the last few days?? oh wait, thats right! i was out of the country! you'd think that would be reason enough to be happy... heh.. not when you've got icky relatives going with you.
just for trivia sake, my maternal grandmother and aunt are staying with us while visiting from Sri Lanka..

my grandma, as soon as she got here, tried to fix me up with some friend of her's son she met while on a trip to India a few months ago. O.O... like what the FRAG?!?!? *censors out a string of cuss words* she bragged that the guy has 2 Masters degrees.. y'know what? I COULDNT GIVE A SLAG IF HE'S GOT 10 PHDS!!
I already have the most wonderful guy in the universe. i dont NEED or WANT people recommended by my relatives. pfft!
besides, you'd think after 21 and a half years she'd be able to get my name right but NOOOOO.. she still refers to me by my cousin's name... *censors out another string of cuss words*
anyways, we went to KL for 3 days... took the bus out of Singapore at some ungodly hour of the morning.. i dont do nor do i like early mornings. thank Primus i got a whole seat to myself for the entire 6 hour journey. mreh, i even managed to write one whole page of Alienated. go me! we got stuck in a traffic jam as we pulled into KL. a car pulled up beside the bus and i happened to glance out the window at it and DUDE! there was a big Aragorn sticker pasted on one of the windows. heh. cool.
oh, Singapore has a Lamborghini company. i didnt know till we passed it in the bus. i saw Sunstreaker! whee!!
anyways yes! once we got to KL i found out that my grandma and aunt would be staying with some of my grandma's friends. apparently they're distantly related to my maternal grandfather. we went for dinner at their place and the people are nice enough, they took us to lunch at a club the day we left too.
shopping in KL? not bad.. didnt get to do much though cos my folks were busy nagging at each other.. sheesh. and TFs are bloody expensive there. in the end i got 3 My Little Ponies. all was not lost though cos i did manage to get a VCD of super rare Japanese G1 episodes.
we arrived in Singapore at about 11pm last night. we would have come in much earlier but my mom and the rest decided to do some last minute shopping in JB. sigh..

today i went out with Clarice. bought more books. reserved even more. hehe and i havent even started reading any of them. but yayness i got the other Unicorn series i wanted.
argh!!! i need money dammit! got birthday presents to buy!!
