10:27 a.m. - 2004-07-01 it was opening day and we got sucky seats, but mreh, cant complain, it was either see it yesterday or wait for a while. might as well see it when the chance presents itself. oh it wasnt bad or anything, in fact i thought it was quite good. it would have been even better if local and cable TV stations hadnt already saturated my brain with a slagload of trailers. trust me, you cant turn on a tv without seeing at least 6 Spiderman 2 trailers in the space on one hour. too much hype on the part of advertising which in turn can make the movie look ordinary when you finally see it. it was a good movie though. much better villain than the first one.. and at least they show Spidey/Peter as being flawed. nothing turns me off more than a superhero who's too perfect. at least it shows that Peter can be just as geeky as some of us when he's not off fighting crime. and the villian was conflicted.. nice.. he thought he was trying to help the world, when in fact he nearly destroyed it... special effects: not bad. i think the director got the balance between storytelling and special effects just about right. its worth seeing. i saw a Lamborghini on the road yesterday. a yellow Lamborghini. a Sunstreaker-yellow Lamborghini. the only thing was that the one i saw was a Lamborghini Diablo. Sunstreaker is a Lamborghini Countach. but it was still a yellow Lamborghini. =) and speaking of the Golden One.. i have to ask myself: why do i keep randomly dreaming of Sunstreaker? i mean not that he's not a nice mech or something. wait a sec, he's NOT a nice mech. egotistical, conceited psychomaniac? yes. nice? Slag no. in that case why did i have my second dream of him two nights ago. dont ask me details, i cant remember. all i remember was that he was in it. besides, who can ignore that blinding yellow paint job. as for the first dream many months ago.. there's only one thing i recall happened and that shall remain to myself. now why cant i dream of Jazz or Sideswipe or Prowl?
