Retelling A Recap
recaps... bleh, i hate doing recaps, but since i've had no time this week to do any updating.. sigh.. on with the recap.
mreh, i didnt really do much. in fact nothing really significant happened till Wednesday
Maryann and i went out to the Esplanade so that i could take some photos of me for Thor's birthday. mwahahah, well it was fun. it was like an amateur photoshoot.. erm.. a VERY amateur photoshoot, but at least some of the photos turned out decent enough for me to print out.
once we were done, Maryann had to come back home with me to use my comp since her dad had taken her laptop. being the glorious slacker that she is, she wound up staying overnight. that is the absolute last time i offer to let her sleep over.
i swear she is thoroughly spoilt. she took 5 slagging hours to type in a little report about her work experience at the Science Center all because she was more focused on chatting with her online friends, checking her emails and surfing the internet, rather than doing any actual work. now if this was at a decent hour i couldnt have cared two whits, but this was at frigging midnight!
when she eventually finished it was 2 in the slagging morning and she'd been at it since 9pm.
now i've done my share of slacking, but this was ridiculous!
honestly, if she spent more time actually doing her work than, rather than bitching and whining about it she could do alot better than the Bs and Cs she's getting, but nooooo.
we didnt get to sleep till 3am. this is after i had to search the house to find facial wash and moisturizer. why? because she doesnt use soap on her face and she cant sleep without moisturizer.
WTF???
GAH! anyways, Thursday afternoon i met up with Jolene and Becca for a short while and also managed to get my photos printed. after that i had to meet up with Maryann again to go to the special press preview of King Arthur.
and coincidentally i met Bossly there!!!
well for those who dont know, i worked with Bossly at the Science Center, mainly when we were all still preparing for the LOTR Exhibition and he was a really big help, especially with all the computer stuff i was getting stuck with. he also helped me get in and meet the WETA Digital guys. but then he left before the Exhibition ended and i couldnt even say goodbye, so yea it was nice seeing him again.
nothing happened yesterday, i was stuck home pretty much all day working on a resume and typing up a review for King Arthur. the movie's good btw so i encourage watching it. and i want the soundtrack slaggit!!
Tash, my old school friend, arrives here tonight so i'll be boogie-ing down to the airport tonight to meet her! wheee! now if only Dhanu and Amals could get their asses down here too! i miss them so much!
