Someone Hit Me
Again with that whole 'sucker for punishment' thing...
the next time i mention i want to meet up one-on-one with Maryann, someone please hit me - HARD! i would have never agreed to meet her today in the first place if she didnt owe me and Clarice some stuff we'd won on her Urbanwire contests... (as for Urbanwire, they can go hang themselves. no more reviews for them. i bust my ass working on a lovely review for King Arthur only to have them change everything, turn it into a negative review just cos the editor didnt like it, and then still pass it off under my name. Grrrr).. She spent the whole time we were together just constantly non-stop talking and complaining (dont ask me what about, i tuned out after the first few lines) and i think i got in a total of about 5 lines. mreh...
aye caramba! someone needs to teach this girl some manners and discipline i swear. our last stop was Popcorn Pop cos i wanted to see if i could pick up any I, Robot stuff. whenever i kept trying to talk to Denny and the other guy about getting some LOTR and TF stuff down and cutting a few deals, she'd suddenly barge in, in the middle of the conversation, and ask some stupid, inane thing about HP stuff she has no intentions of buying. i could tell even Denny was getting sick of her. join the club Den.
anyways i got a Japanese handbill of I, Robot with Will, Bridget and Sonny the robot on it. Maryann didnt want to buy it at first, but after she saw me getting it, she insisted on buying one as well... *quirks brow*
she was supposed to come with C, Bao Hui and myself for The Village. she bragged about how much she wanted to see it since she "loved Shyamalan's other movies". so i tried to fix up a date with her today, only to have her tell me that she doesnt wanna go for it cos there were some movie critics who gave it bad reviews. PFFT! thats never stopped her before. personally i think she's chicken.
C, i got the Spiderman 2 stuff she owes ya. and sorry gal, there was no Anna at the Taka Toy Sale. you'll have to try CQ. and looks like its just you, me and BH going for The Village. Her Highness is afraid of the big bad monsters. *rolls optics*
woohoo! i got my North CD yesterday.. at last! a decent sounding boyband since BSB. they're an Australian quartet and they're actually good... mreh.. and you dont need to look down on me just cos i like boybands and pop music. i dont look down on you for liking rap/rock/hip-hop/whatever now do i? so dont get me started.
as for yesterday, i was out shopping with mom since i needed a particular outfit for church on the 15th and for the MDIS Graduation. long-sleeved white shirt and 3/4-length black skirt. thankfully This Fashion had something that i look decent in without looking too boring. phew!
