Losing Voice
i had such a frigging scare this morning when i woke up and couldnt speak.
there was literally barely any voice coming out of my mouth and i was terrified cos i had to get to church in a couple of hours. so all the while i was rushing around and getting ready i kept straining my vocal chords to work. thankfully after i'd brushed my teeth, it started coming back to normal - must've been the menthol in the toothpaste. just to be on the safe side however, i downed a huge tablespoon of chinese cough syrup (foul thing as it is) before i left.
it must have done the trick since i managed to sing fairly ok during mass, despite the coughing fits in between.
and we started Christmas practise today by singing O Come All Ye Faithful... nice, Bernard gave us a special Descant part that has about 3 High As - beautiful, just what my voice needs. good thing i was able to hit it. oh and starting Sept 8th, we start practise every Wednesday as well.. that should be interesting.
back down to Clarke Quay we went to get C's toy... omg! Spawn Asia's got these weird little LOTR wind-up toys.. slag man they're so fragging weird, that is SO over-merchandising, they're just ridiculous!... and of all people we met Roger there. heh i was talking to one of the store guys when suddenly this arm goes around my neck and puts me in a front headlock. i guessed it had to be someone i knew so i didnt fight back.. lol, yea it was Roger.
mreh... Robinsons has more Ponies.. gaaaah! why do they torture me like this!?! i wound up buying Peachy Pie cos she was just so cute! =)
Clarice came home with me and i was able to take some nice photos of some of my TF toys.. mwahahaha! Sunstreaker hates me for what i made him do and keeps trying to hit me with energized spitballs, the slagger!... then again, when has Sunstreaker ever liked anyone?
*looks up at shelf* i swear Sunshine! one more spitball from you and i'll make you do something you will truly hate to do!!
Primus i hate early mornings and i have to wake up at slagging 6am tomorrow!
think money.. think buying Jazz-Meister with that money..
