Dear Jazz,
Do it with Style or Dont Bother Doing it... i never thought i'd see people taking your motto that seriously man! i mean, ever since your Binaltech Mazda RX-08 version arrived this week, its been nothing short of a mini-event. people have been going crazy about you.
not that i'm one to talk but thats another story,.
i mean look the email i got from one of my favorite toy stores: Due to the overwhelming response of BT-08 Meister feat. Mazda RX-8 [picture], we will be extending our shop's opening hours this weekend. Saturday: 10am to 10pm and Sunday: 9am to 10pm. (There will be a jam between 1pm to 3pm)
heh, they werent kidding. when C and i went down to Clarke Quay after church, pretty much EVERYONE was buying you. every store and stall was selling you. heck the above mentioned store even went all out and had 5 anime models standing around your car-mode. you were in every display case in both robot and car form, and just about everyone was buying the white version of you.
the stores should have listened to me when i told them that the white version was bound to be more popular than the red. now they're admitting it.
i asked the store guys why there was such a big fuss over you coming out and not for the other Binaltech guys before you and apparently you're very, VERY popular with just about..hmm.. i dont know.. EVERYONE! maybe its because, of all the Alternators, you're the one who most resembles your old G1 model, maybe its because you still have that damn cool visor, maybe its cos your helmet still has those two adorable little horns on them, maybe its your name: Jazz/Meister, maybe its because nobody can resist a Black and White!.. gah! maybe its all those put together.
what can i say Jazz-baby, you ROCK! i'm honored to share headspace with you =)
by the way though, have you been influencing Bluestreak? cos yesterday i noticed his Alternators version was bopping along to Michael Jackson's "Black Or White" and now he seems to be on an 80s MJ kick.
But keep on inspiring Jazz... the more people there are like you, the better off we'll all be.
