10:44 p.m. - 2004-11-14 which makes me wonder.. i was reading the "Seahorses" series that week and according to the tale, the kind spirit is known as the Blue Horse.. coincidentally, when i started the first book i happened to be wearing blue, and again on the second day.. so just for the heck of it, and keeping in with the spirit of the story, i decided to wear blue that whole week.. and well, i'm sitting here in much better spirits arent i? Moving on to MUCH better stuff Choir practise was a little hectic than usual today. we had to practise for the two masses next sunday, as well as for Advent sunday so it was pretty much non-stop singing.. plus i also came to church earlier than normal to help out with the fund-raising... still i did enjoy myself and so did the TFs in my bag: BT Jazz and Bluestreak, and the Lambo Twins. Jazz in particular enjoyed listening to the choir, and has now begged to come along every sunday just to listen to us. "Hey man, its not every day you get to listen to beautiful music like that, so why not.. i can appreciate good, traditional choral music too cos it sounds lovely. so many different variations... just beautiful." aww thanks Jazz... and ok i'll try to bring at least one of your versions with me to choir from now on, since you really do enjoy it =).. Bless.. anyways, the reason for the TFs being in my bag was because, straight after choir and lunch, KY and i went down to Sun Tec city for the Singapore Motorshow. KY brought along BT Tracks and Smokescreen. now, i have no real big interest in cars, and especially in cars i can never dream of affording, neither does KY. the reason we went was because some of the cars on display were the ones the BTs were molded from, mainly the Subaru WRC and WRX, the Mazda RX-8, the Corvette and the Lamborghini. we started by heading straight for the Mazdas.. unfortunately they only had a red and blue RX-8 and my Jazz was white. nonetheless, once the crowd cleared up, we managed to pose Jazz on the front and back of the red one and took alot of pics of him. the blue RX-8 was cordoned off on a turntable, but we managed to get Jazz in as close as possible for the photo. the lighting was great at that point.. Jazz took a fancy to the girls who were showing off the car, but they barely took any notice of him, so he was a little hurt by that. Bless his spark but he recovered quickly and was his cheerful self again, basking in the attention and soaking up the atmosphere. and boy can that mech work a camera.. *huggles Jazz* Smokescreen was a perfect replica of the Subaru WRC on display. Subaru garnered alot of attention since one of the Rally drivers was there, and they had their Subaru-girls there as well. we posed Smokes on his Real-Life car for more photos, even got one of the girls to pose with him in front of his car. hehe i think he developed a crush.. later we joined the line that had formed to get autographs from the Rally driver. however when it came to our turn... Autographs? naaaah. we held out Bluestreak and Smokescreen and asked him to pose for a pic with them. bwahahaha! we found the WRX and posed Bluestreak on them. that Bot is such a sweetheart, he was happily surprised with all the attention he got.. of course he's now talking nonstop about it to the others. the Lambo on display, while it was the perfect shade of Sunstreaker-yellow, was not the vintage Countach model. nevertheless, it WAS a yellow Lambo. the hitch there was that the display stage was separated from the public by a foot-wide stretch of water. Luckily KY was able to reach and place them in such a way that i was able to take a few good photos. i feel a bit sorry for Tracks though. we went up to level 6 to check out the Chevrolet cars. they had a Corvette, but it wasnt Tracks' model, and it was red. still we took a few pics of him with it. we turned heads pretty much everywhere we went in the hall, mainly cos we were carrying the BTs in our hands and people were just STARING at them, Smokes and Jazz got the most attention, with people actually coming up and asking about them, what they were and where to get them. Rapid Culture got free advertising... yes! we are two TF geeks who took their Transformers to a car show, just to see the real-life versions of their cars... and where other people posed themselves with the car for pictures, we posed the Autobots. and you know what? it was a hell of alot more fun than just coming in and oogling a bunch of expensive cars, cos no matter how cool they are, they'll never beat the Transformers. i just hope to Primus the pictures turn out ok, cos the camera was giving a bit of trouble...
