So Many Gifts, So Little Money
sunday = choir as usual, which is always an interesting place to be, though today i felt that things didnt go as smoothly as they normally did - at least for the first half hour
for one thing, some people showed up late, which pissed Bernard off as that gave us less time to practise some of the new hymns we were supposed to sing today, as well as the Responsorial chant.
as a result, we couldnt practise the Responsorial and all but screwed it up during the mass.. luckily i think that woke us all up and we managed to pull it together for the rest of the mass.
got some new scores during practise.. oh joy then, that means my files are becoming bigger! GAH! had to sing alot of Descant parts today as well... oooh my aching vocalizer..
JAZZ: but look on the bright side, least y'all sounded great
mreh, ok Jazz has a point, we did sound good considering there were only about 5 Descants altogether... ugh.. more high A notes to hit.
and got official permission from Bernard for KY and Maryann to listen in on the practise session next Saturday. and KY's bringing the Binaltechs, squee!
finally figured out what i can give my three RC boys for Christmas. mreh.. better not say it here just yet cos i know KY reads this... hehe.
went to Clarke Quay with Maryann and saw lots of potential X'mas prezzies but didnt have enough money to buy them. Grrr.. must get Yan Jie to pay me tomorrow and also see if last months SC money has gone into my account.
Uncle David at CQ offered to sell me BT Grimlock at $60.. GAH!!! why is he tempting me?!?! on the other end, Yan Jie and Gary are encouraging me to buy the Predaking reissue.. and i still owe Gary and Jean a grand total of over $150 altogether.. *weeps* so much money!!
and i still have mail and gifts to post!!!
OH DEAR PRIMUS THIS IS GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF ME!!!
