Crossovers
so as i was saying last week... after Mass today we had a quick lunch, piled into a bus and then headed down to IHM to practise with their choir for next week's R.O.E...
that church is big.. almost double the size of ours, but pity that they have a small choir - only about 30 - and no loft to sing from like we have.. so to accomodate the sudden large numbers, we're going to sing from the gallery.. better than nothing i guess..
the other choir itself.. they're alot older than us, most of them seem to be late 20s and above, whereas we still have kids and teens in ours.. we didnt really get to know them on a personal level since as soon as we got there it was 'places, and action'... and once we covered everything, it was back to our church again.. ah well.. they seem nice though..
guess i know what i'll be doing for Valentines Day.. haha, i'll be working, since both Gary and YJ have 'plans'.. great... is this some sort of weird confirmation that i have no life outside of the reality that dominates my mind..
ah heck, who cares... its not like i'm pro-Valentines Day anyways.. i hate the fragging day with a passion. i mean really... why wait for this one day to tell that person you love them? if ya really love them, you should be telling them so every slaggin' day of the year. sheesh...
them Autobots should be glad they dont have anything as silly as this in their culture. honestly.. V-Day, mothers day, fathers day, this day, that day... they're just all big scams to get people to spend money on things they wouldnt normally spend on.. but oh, since its Blah-blah Day, lets just go and blow a ton o' cash...
slag me...
oh the bright side... hopefully my Chinese New Year money (if i get anything) plus salary, will be enough to pay YJ the $130 i owe him for the toys, and still have some left over to get the new toys..
speaking of toys and gifts and stuff.. Ivy, Jamie, CJ, Aido, Mommimus, Whirly, Jazzy... i still have your gifts with me, and i know i'm HORRIBLY late in sending them off.. i'll do it after Chinese New Year, i swear to Primus!
Twospotz, thank you TONS for the artwork.. the Bluestreak and Jazz sketches will be laminated, and as soon as i get my own room, hopefully framed and hung up.
CJ, i cant thank you enough for helping me get the Action Masters Jazz... the harem could always use some expansion ;)
